    Wallace's academic journey saw him graduating with top honors from the University of Texas, where he pursued a major in Government and a minor in Sociology. He achieved the status of a Distinguished College Scholar and was a consistent presence on the dean's list throughout his undergraduate studies. His scholarship from the O'Quinn Foundation was crucial in shaping his understanding of the complexities of law and governmental systems. Now in law school, Wallace has been recognized with both the Chancellor's Law Scholarship and the Dean's Leadership Award, accolades that speak to his scholarly excellence and leadership skills.

     

    Wallace's commitment to his law school community is demonstrated through his efforts to support his classmates, especially law and LL.M. students who confront language barriers or are unable to attend classes. His exceptional writing and communication skills have earned him the role of primary note-taker for his section. His engagement with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts is notable, serving as a 1L Representative for both the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association and the Opening Statement: First Generation Lawyers club.

    Wallace's professional background includes directing the debate team at SpiderSmart, where he transformed a modest local initiative into a program recognized across the nation. Under his leadership since 2018, his debate teams won the 2019 National Debate Championship and the 2022 Texas and Connecticut Ethics Bowl Championships. His pioneering coaching strategies have consistently produced unbeaten records in both state and national competitions, earning him renown as a trailblazer in debate coaching.

    Born to parents from Taiwan, Wallace has significantly contributed to fields like legal data analytics, policy research, and corporate governance. His 2023 internship at DLA Piper was instrumental in his exposure to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies, where he played a key role in advising Fortune 500 clients on corporate social responsibility. His efforts have refined the firm's risk management strategies and advisory services. With a keen interest in corporate litigation, Wallace is eager to expand his legal knowledge and skills post-graduation.
